soft text

tend. field., (a philosophy). rev. ed.

the revised edition of a text meant as a 'wall of words of a philosophical nature', much like john coltrane's 'walls of sound' on the tenor saxophone. this text marks the beginning of ganick's involvement with 'walls of words' or 'blocks of text' and has a certain freshness of outlook. earlier, jack kimball's faux press, issued a cd containing the text (unrevised) and some drawings by ganick.

existence part one

the start of a sixteen part series called 'existence', like the others are explorations in composed text, automaton text, visual poetry, and are all experimental in nature. not meant to be read as a semantically-oriented text would, the books incite an aspect of outrage from the inclusion of parts of otherwise recognisable text. the 'existences' are of differing lengths and each has it's characteristic identity.

existence part two

existences 3-6

(remainder of 'existences' are available from VUGG)

..TWO TEXTS..

an unwieldy book of over 700 pages contains two texts, namely 'apparitional corsairs' and 'withness'. these are available in smaller sized editions that are much more user-friendly. see the entries for each text under its title below.

THEORY OF TIME

a massive work of texts written around the topic of time, a concept ganick approaches with trepidation and urgency.

apparitional corsairs

a way to express the illusoriness of text/language/semantic overlays on the world, this text is not easy-going, for the writer and the reader. this book, like 'withness' below is part of .. TWO TEXTS .. and issued here for the convenience of a manageable reading experience.

cake and seve &
is v fact.

two short texts in pocket-size that are a start at meshing the freedom of the 'existences' with a reasonable semantic aspect cognizable to the reader. the idea of 'entertainment' is not foreign to these two books. can be read at one sitting.

seen, thought.

this short text is the melding of a group of statements with a smaller text that clings to its right side. will the small fall from the larger text? how does one read this book? these questions are implied in the book itself, how much intervention between texts should be allowed?
